Psychological support of Personnel
Psychological support of Personnel – is one of the types of troop support, carried out with the aim of fostering moral readiness and psychological resilience, maintaining and restoring the moral and psychological state of the personnel for the successful execution of assigned tasks. призначенням. Psychological support of personnel is carried out in accordance with the Constitution and laws of Ukraine, acts of the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, other regulatory and legal documents, orders and directives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Statutes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and instructions from the Chief of the Main Directorate of Personnel Psychological Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Head of the Military Institute.

Psychological Support is the activity of commanders (chiefs) and officials of psychological support structures, aimed at the direct organization of work concerning professional psychological selection, the formation, maintenance, and restoration of troops' psychological readiness to perform assigned tasks, and the preservation of servicemen's mental health.

Moral Support
Moral Support is the activity of commanders (chiefs) of all levels and personnel psychological support structures regarding informational influence on the consciousness and behavior of servicemen, with the aim of forming and developing their civic and national identity, moral qualities, conscious attitude toward military duty, a sense of unity and combat morale (or fighting spirit), and ensuring motivation for executing assigned tasks.

- Cultural recreation
Moral support is organized in cooperation with other structural units of the Military Institute:
- Personnel structures: implementation and development of military leadership; social support for personnel;
- Military Chaplaincy Service: pastoral care; performance of religious rites; meeting the religious needs of the personnel.
- Communication structures: informing the personnel; disseminating combat traditions, examples of courage and heroism; covering materials of a motivational nature.
The main objectives of personnel psychological support are:
Objectives of Psychological Support:
- Analysis of the socio-political, moral-psychological, and informational situation in the area of the Military Institute's deployment and its influence on the moral-psychological state of the personnel;
- Organization of the assessment of the personnel's moral-psychological state in order to identify factors that positively or negatively influence the Moral-Psychological State;
- Forecasting of possible combat psychogenic casualties among personnel;
- Analysis of the influence of psychological factors of battle (combat operations) on the psychological and moral readiness of personnel;
- Identification of individuals with neuropsychiatric instability in the units and conducting psychoprophylactic and psychocorrective measures;
- Conducting professional psychological selection;
- Psychological accompaniment for maintaining the optimal state of servicemen's mental health during training and the execution of their assigned tasks, and preventing the emergence of negative mental states;
- Organization of personnel psychological training;
- Restoration of servicemen's mental health, promotion of their psychosocial adaptation and rehabilitation;
- Organization of cooperation with state authorities and local self-government, public (volunteer) organizations on issues of personnel psychological support.
Objectives of Moral Support:
- Conducting measures aimed at forming in servicemen national identity, patriotism, pride in belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Military Institute;
- Organization of internal communication work and feedback between commanders and subordinates, creation of an atmosphere of frankness and mutual trust among servicemen;
- Organization of national-patriotic training classes with officers and sergeants and soldiers of military service under contract;
- Organization and conduct of measures aimed at building confidence in the command, moral resilience, development of leadership and team spirit among personnel;
- Dissemination of combat traditions, examples of courage, combat brotherhood, and heroism of the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including graduates of the Military Institute;
- Analysis of the state of military discipline and law and order, with the definition of priority moral-psychological areas of work to prevent offenses;
- Conducting cultural recreation measures aimed at restoring the moral-psychological state of servicemen, developing their spirituality, patriotic consciousness, and cultural level through the organization of leisure, creative, and educational activities;
- Organization of cooperation on moral support issues with state authorities and local self-government, cultural institutions, public (volunteer) organizations, the sergeant and cadet council of the Military Institute.
Professional Orientation
Career guidance plays a key role in the formation of future officers who will serve as the foundation of the country's defence capability. This guidance includes not only the study of military disciplines, but also the development of leadership qualities, physical training, and moral and ethical education.
- Theoretical training: This includes the study of military strategy, tactics, and the history of military conflicts, as well as the study of legislation and international humanitarian law. This provides future officers with a deep understanding of military science and its historical context.
- Practical skills: Focused on developing skills in unit command, tactical planning, and the use of military equipment and weaponry. Training in first aid and survival in extreme conditions also plays an important role.
- Development of leadership qualities: Special attention is paid to the formation of leadership skills, the ability to make decisions in stressful situations, the development of communication skills, and the capacity to motivate subordinates.
- Moral and Ethical Education: An important aspect is the cultivation of responsibility, patriotism, high moral principles, and respect for human rights and the law.
